Alwar and Jaipur districts are close to major auto production hubs of the country, such as Noida (Uttar Pradesh), Gurgaon and Dharuhera (Haryana) advantages setting up auto and auto ancillary units. Over 100 units are currently functional in Bhiwandi, Neemrana, Pathredi in Alwar district, and Rajasthan; these are the three main auto clusters in Rajasthan.
Many of the well-known brands in the Automobile industry have plants set up in Rajasthan. Some of them are Honda, Ashok Leyland, Hero Motocorp, JCB and others. As the names suggest, Rajasthan has become a hub for vehicle plants in India.
