Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani

Birla Institute of Technology and Science, better known as BITS Pilani, is one of the top educational institutes in the country. It is a top-rated private technological university. BITS Pilani is rated along with the esteemed IITs in NIRF Rankings. The college is renowned for its beautiful campus, advanced academics and research in science and technology fields, and its diversity of Students.

The students have to go through its entrance test BITSAT, where their knowledge of Science, Mathematics and English is evaluated. The college also has a large Alumni base. It is famous for its annual fest OASIS, where students from many colleges and universities from all over the country come and participate.

Indian Institute of Technology(IIT), Jodhpur

Indian Institute of Technology or the IITs are the premier institutes of the country. The Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur (IIT Jodhpur) is one of the eight new Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India, in 2008. The college provides various degrees like B.Tech, M.Tech, PhD in multiple departments.

The entrants go through JEE Advanced Exam, where they are judged on their knowledge and problem-solving skills in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. IITs are Government Funded institutions; hence there are many opportunities for research and innovation in various fields.

Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT), Jaipur

The Government of Rajasthan initially established Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT). The government gave it the status of NIT in 2002. Founded in 1963, MNIT is one of the oldest Engineering colleges in Rajasthan. It is ranked among the top NITs of the country.

Students have to take the JEE Mains examination conducted by NTA to get admission to the college. JEE Mains Exam consists of questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Government funds nITs under the National Institutes of Technology Act, 2007, giving massive exposure to new advancements in numerous fields.

All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS), Jodhpur

All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS), Jodhpur, is a medical college and medical research public university. Established in 2012, and it is one of the six AIIMS established under PMMSY by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. It is one of the premier medical colleges in Rajasthan.

AIIMS conducts an annual test for admission to all its locations. Students are tested on their knowledge of Biology, Physics, Chemistry and Current Affairs. It produces a number of doctors and surgeons who practice medicine and help society

Jawahar Lal Nehru (JLN) Medical College, Ajmer

Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College (JLN), also known as J.L.N Medical College, was established in 1965. This government medical college is located in Ajmer, the western state of Rajasthan. Institute is affiliated with The Rajasthan University of Health Sciences (RUHS). College is offering 20+ courses and training programs in Medical Stream.

Entrants must go through NEET Examination conducted by NTA to get admission into this college. The knowledge of Biology, Chemistry and Physics is tested in this test.

Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Udaipur

Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Udaipur or IIMU is one of the 20 IIMs established in the country. IIMs are institutes of management education and research. In 2017, IIMs were declared institutions of national importance by MHRD. IIMU offers a two-year MBA programme in the field of Management.

Aspirants go through the Common Entrance Test (CAT) to be eligible for admission to this institution. They are evaluated on the Quantitative, Logical and Verbal Ability. Being a top institute in management, these colleges provide an excellent peer-to-peer learning environment and good placement opportunities.

National Law University (NLU), Jodhpur

National Law University-Jodhpur (NLUJ) is one of India’s leading Law Schools among the 23 NLUs. The University is established for the advancement of learning, teaching, research and diffusion of knowledge in the field of law. NLUJ was one of the first institutions to offer B.B.A., LL.B and similar duress at the undergraduate level.

Aspirants must take the CLAT examination to get admission into this college. Some of the subjects asked are Current Affairs, Legal Reasoning, Quantitative Techniques etc.

Institute of Hotel Management, Catering Technology & Applied Nutrition - [IHM], Jaipur

Established in 1989, the Institute of Hotel Management, Catering Technology & Applied Nutrition [IHM] is a Public Institute that falls under the Ministry of Tourism, GOI. It is located in Jaipur. the institute offers undergrad and certificate courses in particular: B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration

Students willing to take admission to the college must fill the application form on the college’s website. They are selected based on their performance in the 12th board examination and other screening tests.

Manipal University, Jaipur

Manipal University, Jaipur or MUJ was established in 2011 as a self-financed state university. The university offers UG, PG, PhD programmes in streams like Engineering, Planning, Humanities, Management, etc. A constituent university of the Manipal Education Group, MUJ is one of the best private colleges in the state as well as the country, providing with best infrastructure and facilities and quality education.

KOTA

Kota is the most famous biggest name in education in the entire nation. Situated on the bank of the Chambal River, it is the 3rd most populous city of Rajasthan. The city is mainly known as a centre for the preparation of various national level examinations like IIT JEE, NEET, NTSE, Olympiads, KVPY etc. Through these examinations, students get admission into numerous engineering and medical colleges.

Kota has become the first choice among all the students for Pre-Engineering and Pre-Medical test preparation. Over 150,000 students from all over the country come to Kota for coaching, making it the ‘Coaching Capital of India’. The duration of preparation is around 2-3 year, during which students stay in hostels/PGs and attend the Coaching Institute they have joined. Undoubtedly, the annual turnover of the Kota coaching industry is very high, 1500 crores.

Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Udaipur is a relatively new addition to the premier management institute of the country IIMs. IIMU was approved by the Government in 2009. It has grown tremendously and now ranks among top management colleges in the country.

JODHPUR

Jodhpur

Jodhpur, the ‘Blue City’ of Rajasthan is the second-largest city in the state. This city is fast becoming a major education hub for higher studies in all the fields like Science, Arts, Engineering, Fashion, etc.

Jodhpur’s prominence in higher education is due to the fact that it is home to many National Institutes like AIIMS, FDDI, IIT, NLU etc. These renowned colleges provide students with the best facilities and education.

IIT Jodhpur and AIIMS Jodhpur are relatively new additions to the existing IITs and AIIMSs. These institutes are known for their competitive admission exams and hence selecting only the best of the candidates.
