Kumar Mangalam Birla is an Indian industrialist of Rajasthani descent and the Chairman of the Aditya Birla Group, one of India's largest conglomerate corporations. He is also the Birla Institute of Technology and Science's Chancellor. KM Birla, a chartered accountant by profession, received a commerce degree from the HR College in Mumbai and an MBA in HR from the London Business School, where he is also an Honorary Fellow. He founded Mission 2012 and Vision 2020 after becoming chancellor of BITS Pilani University, with the aim of making BITS one of the world's top universities.

Ghanshyam Das Birla

Ghanshyam Das Birla was born on April 10, 1894, in Pilani village, Jhunjhunu district, Rajasthan. Birla was a close friend and staunch follower of Mahatma Gandhi, whom he met for the first time in 1916. The Padma Vibhushan, India's second-highest civilian honour, was bestowed upon him by the Government of India in 1957. Birla died on June 11, 1983, in London, at the age of 89. He is remembered in Golders Green Crematorium, Hoop Lane, London. It consists of a massive monument with an inscription overlooking the gardens.

Sanjiv Goenka is the Chairman of the RP-Sanjiv Goenka Party. Sanjiv Goenka, born in 1961, is the Honorary Consul of Canada in Kolkata. Harakh Chand Nahata

Harakh Chand Nahata was a well-known Indian businessman and social activist. Nahata was born on July 18, 1936, in Bikaner, Rajasthan. He was a well-known social activist and philanthropist who was involved with over 60 socio-religious organisations and trusts, including the Heart Care Foundation of India, Shanti Mandir-Bithari, and Prakrit Bharati. Nahata was the first person to start road transportation in Tripura's challenging and inhospitable terrain. He was instrumental in beginning urban growth and two-way traffic to deliver economic benefits for the tribal people and Tripura by managing the largest Railway Out Agency in Tripura (Tripura Town Out Agency) and developing a vast network of road transport at high costs and risks. Nahata received awards from the Vice President of India and the Lieutenant-Governor of Delhi for his multifaceted contributions to trade and industry.

Krishna Poonia

Ms. Krishna hails from Churu in Rajasthan and became an ace discus thrower. The Arjun Award winner (2010) became the first Indian woman to win a Commonwealth Games gold medal in individual athletics. Her excellent accomplishments were recognised with the Padma Shri Award in 2011. The athlete was awarded the Maharana Pratap award by the Government of Rajasthan. Her honours and recognitions attest to her hard work and commitment to a land that was unfamiliar to many.

Devendra Jhajharia

Devendra Jhajharia, born on 10 June 1981, is a Paralympic javelin thrower from India who competes in F46 events. He is the first Indian Paralympian to win two Paralympic gold medals. He earned his first gold medal in the javelin throw at the 2004 Summer Paralympics in Athens, becoming just the country's second Paralympic gold medallist. He broke his previous record by winning a second gold medal in the same event at the 2016 Summer Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro.

Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore

Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, a legend born in Rajasthan, won 25 international medals for Double Trap Shooting at different competitions, including a silver medal in the Men's Double Trap event at the 2004 Summer Olympics. Rathore won a gold medal and set a new Commonwealth Games record of 192 targets out of 200 at the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester. Along with Moraad Ali Khan, he also won the Team Gold Medal. Rathore went on to successfully defend his Commonwealth Champion title by winning gold at the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne in 2006. He also took silver in the team event alongside Vikram Bhatnagar. He won gold medals in two World Shooting Championships, in 2004 in Sydney and 2006 in Cairo. Rathore rose to prominence after winning silver in the 2004 Olympics in Athens. It was India's first Olympic individual silver medal. Rathore won gold at the Asian Clay Target Championship in Kuala Lumpur in 2011. In that game, his score of 194 equalled the world record.

Sriram Singh Shekhawat

Jagjit Singh was born Jagmohan Singh Dhiman on February 8, 1941, in Ganganagar, Rajasthan. When it comes to Indian Classical Music, particularly Ghazals, Jagjit Singh needs no introduction. He was a legendary figure in the worlds of Ghazals, folk, Indian Classical, and devotional songs. Even after his death, he is still referred to as the legendary Ghazal King, and this singer received a variety of prestigious awards and recognitions. This legendary musician not only sang but also composed music and sang several songs with his better half Chitra Singh, who is also a well-known female Ghazal singer. Jagjit Singh has received several prestigious awards and recognitions from the Government of India and several state governments. The Padma Bhushan, India's third highest civilian decoration, was bestowed upon Jagjit Singh by the Government of India in 2003. After his death in 2012, the State Government of Rajasthan bestowed the Rajasthan Ratna, the state's highest civilian honour, on Jagjit Singh. In 1998, the Rajasthan government bestowed the Sahitya Academy Award for popularising Mirza Ghalib's work, as well as the Sahitya Kala Academy Award. In the same year, the Government of Madhya Pradesh bestowed upon him the Lata Mangeshkar Samman for the second time.

Vishwa Mohan Bhatt

Mohan is a veena player who performs Hindustani classical music (slide guitar). He was born on 27th July 1950. He resides in Jaipur, Rajasthan. Bhatt's Grammy-winning album A Meeting by the River with Ry Cooder, released on the Water Lily Acoustics label, is his most well-known work. Other fusion and pan-cultural collaborations with Western artists such as Taj Mahal, Béla Fleck, and Jerry Douglas are also well-known. Bhatt received the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award in 1998, the Padma Shri in 2002, and the Padma Bhushan in 2017.

Mehdi Hassan

Hassan was a Pakistani ghazal singer and Lollywood playback singer. He was born in a village called Luna, Rajasthan also he is known as the "Shahenshah-e-Ghazal," one of the greatest and most prominent figures in the history of ghazal singing (Emperor of Ghazal). Mehdi Hassan is credited with introducing ghazal singing to a global audience, thanks to his "haunting" baritone voice. He bagged numerous awards and accolades during his career and, along with another contemporary playback singer Ahmed Rushdi, remained a leading singer in the Pakistani film industry, singing and creating soundtracks for nearly 300 films.

Komal Kothari

Komal Kothari was a classical and folk singer from India. Kothari's research culminated in the synthesis of a variety of folklore studies. He made significant contributions to the study of musical instruments, oral cultures, and puppetry in particular. Kothari co-founded the Rupayan Sansthan in Borunda village in Rajasthan with Vijaydan Detha, an institution that records Rajasthani folklore, arts, and music, and spent the majority of his career at the Rajasthan Sangeet Natak Academy. A documentary film on his ethnomusicology work from 1979, as well as another titled Komal Da, about his life and works, are now housed at Columbia University Libraries.

Ram Narayan

Arvind Bhatnagar was an Indian astronomer who made important contributions to solar astronomy and founded several planetariums throughout India. He was the founder and director of the Udaipur Solar Observatory, as well as the Nehru Planetarium in Bombay. Prof. Arvind Bhatnagar was well-known in the world for his important contributions to solar astronomy. He founded and directed the Udaipur Solar Observatory. He was also very interested in popularising astronomy and was instrumental in the establishment of many planetarium throughout India. Arvind Bhatnagar was born on November 19, 1936, in Beawar, Rajasthan.

Prabhu Lal Bhatnagar (August 8, 1912 – October 5, 1976) was an Indian mathematician best known for his contribution to the Bhatnagar–Gross–Krook operator, which is used in Lattice Boltzmann methods (LBM). P. L. Bhatnagar was the second of five sons born in Kota, Rajasthan. He attended Rampura High School and then Herberter College in Kota. After finishing school, he enrolled at Maharajah's College in Jaipur, where he earned a BSc with honours in 1935, followed by an MSc the following year. On January 26, 1968, the President of India bestowed the Padma Bhushan upon him. Following his death on October 5, 1976, in Allahabad, the Illustrated Weekly of India paid tribute to him with an article written by the well-known science writer Jagajit Singh.

Pushpa Mittra Bhargava

Pushpa Mittra Bhargava (22 February 1928 – 1 August 2017) was a scientist, author, and administrator from India. In Hyderabad, he founded the Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology, a federally funded research institute. He was an articulate and powerful figure in the growth of scientific temper in India, arguing that scientific rationalism should be cultivated as a civic duty. Bhargava was born in Ajaymeru (Rajasthan) to Ram Chandra Bhargava, a medical doctor and public health professional, and Gayatri Bhargava, a housewife. In Hyderabad, Telangana, Bhargava founded the Centre of Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB). The CCMB is a modern biology research organisation. Bhargava was a well-known critic of Indian government policies and served as vice-chairman of the National Information Commission. He was a member of the National Security Advisory Board and a Supreme Court of India candidate.

Goverdhan Mehta

Goverdhan Mehta FNA, FASc, FRS, FRSC (born 26 June 1943 in Jodhpur) is a chemical scientist and researcher from India. Mehta received his BSc and MSc from BITS Pilani, as well as his PhD from Pune University. He has written over 400 academic papers. He was awarded the Trieste Prize. He has won the Padma Shri Award, the Alexander von Humboldt Research Award, and the H.K. Firodia Award for Science and Technology. He is serving as a Chairman of Indian Statistical Institute.

Daulat Singh Kothari

Daulat Singh Kothari (6 July 1906 – 4 February 1993) was an Indian scientist and educationist. He received his early education in Udaipur and Indore, and in 1928, he graduated from Allahabad University with a master's degree in physics under the supervision of Meghnad Saha. From 1934 to 1961, he served at Delhi University in various capacities, including reader, lecturer, and Head of the Department of Physics. He worked for the Ministry of Defence as a technical advisor. Following that, he was appointed Chairman of the University Grants Commission. Dr. D S Kothari (Padma Bushan & Padma Vibhushan), Scientific Advisor to the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, is a world-renowned physicist, educator, and the architect of Indian defence science. At its golden jubilee session in 1963, D. S. Kothari presided over the Indian Science Congress. He was elected to the Indian National Science Academy as its new President.

Man Mohan Sharma

He was born on May 1, 1937 in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. He is a chemical engineer from India. He went to Jodhpur, Mumbai, and Cambridge for his education. Professor of Chemical Engineering at the Institute of Chemical Technology in Mumbai, he was named. [three] He went on to become the first chemical engineering professor from UDCT to become the Director of UDCT. He was the first Indian engineer to be elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in the United Kingdom. The President of India awarded him the Padma Bhushan in 1987 and the Padma Vibhushan in 2001. [4] He has also received the Royal Society's Leverhulme Medal, the S.S. Bhatnagar Prize in Engineering Sciences (1973), the FICCI Award (1981), the Indian National Science Academy's Vishwakarma Medal (1985), the G.M. Modi Award (1991), the Meghnad Saha Medal (1994), and an honorary Doctor of Science degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (2001).

Ram Narain Agarwal

Ram Narain Agarwal is a well-known Indian aerospace engineer. He is known as the "Father of the Agni Series of Missiles" for his contributions to the Agni series of surface-to-surface missiles. He was born in the city of Jaipur, Rajasthan, to a family of traders. DP Sharma

D. P. Sharma (born 1 May 1969) is a computer scientist and disability rights activist from India. He was born in the village of Samona in the Rajakhera Tehsil of Rajasthan, India. In 2005, he created a work search engine for people with disabilities, which was later implemented by the Government of India's Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment. In March 2008, the search engine was featured on the cover of PCQuest's SMB version. The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, appointed Sharma as National Brand Ambassador (Academicians and Youth) to the nation-wide initiative Swachh Bharat Mission (Clean India Drive) in 2017. In 2019, the Government of Rajasthan began the process of creating a Technical University in Jaipur, Rajasthan, based on Sharma's suggestion, to offer technology-enabled training, education, and recovery to people with disabilities. Sharma wrote or co-wrote 22 books, edited/reviewed numerous journal journals, and contributed labour editorials.

Justice RM Loadha

R.M Lodha was born on 28th September 1949 in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. In February 1973, he received his B.SC. and LL.B. degrees from the University of Jodhpur and enrolled with the Rajasthan Bar Council. As a Special Counsel, he represented the Rajasthan High Court in important cases. On January 31, 1994, he was appointed as a Permanent Judge of the Rajasthan High Court. Vijay Shankar Vyas

Vijay Shankar Vyas was a well-known Indian agricultural economist. He was born on 21st august 1931 and left for heavenly abode on 12 September 2018. He was a Brahmin from Bikaner's Pushkarna community and the author of six novels. Vyas served as the Director of IIM Ahmedabad, IDS Jaipur, and the World Bank's Senior Advisor for Agriculture and Rural Development. Professor Vyas worked at the Institute of Development Studies in Jaipur as an Emeritus Professor. He was a member of the Reserve Bank of India's Central Board of Directors. Arvind Panagariya

Arvind Panagariya is an Indian-American economist and a professor of economics at Columbia University. From January 2015 to August 2017, he served as the first vice-chairman of the government of India think-tank NITI Aayog. Earlier he was the Asian Development Bank's Chief Economist. He was previously an economics professor at the University of Maryland at College Park. He has also worked for the World Bank, IMF, WTO, and the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD). He graduated from Princeton University with a Ph.D. in economics. Panagariya is a prolific author who has published over 15 books and also awarded Padma Bhushan award.

Piyush Pandey

Pandey was born in Jaipur in 1955 and represented Rajasthan in the Ranji Trophy. Pandey began his career at Ogilvy as an Account Director, but he was quickly recognised as someone of artistic talent, and he was transferred to the creative department. In 1994, Pandey was named to the board of directors. He is now the Chief Creative Officer Worldwide and the Executive Chairman India of Ogilvy Agency. In 2016, the Indian government bestowed upon him the civilian rank of Padma Shri. Under his leadership, Ogilvy India has been named the No. 1 Agency in the Agency Reckoner, an independent Marketing & Advertising Survey conducted by The Economic Times and Brand Equity, for 12 years in a row. At the 2002 Media Asia Awards, Pandey was named Asia's Creative Person of the Year. He is the only Indian to have won two gold medals at Cannes (for his Cancer Patients Association anti-smoking campaign) and three grand prizes at the London International Awards. O&M India won 25 lions at Cannes during Pandey's tenure. He received India's first Silver Pencil at The One Show Awards in 2002.

Mohan Singh Mehta

Mohan Singh Mehta was born on April 20, 1895, in Bhilwara, Rajasthan, to Jeewan Singh Mehta. Mehta earned a B.A. from Agra College in Agra in 1916, an M.A. (Economics) from Allahabad University in 1918, and L.L.B. and Ph.D. degrees from the London School of Economics in 1919 and 1921, respectively (1927). In 1927, he was admitted to the Middle Temple as a Barrister-at-Law. For distinguished service to the Mewar State Government between 1940 and 1945, he received awards and titles. Maharaj Shree Nagendra Singh

Maharaj Sri Nagendra Singh was born on March 18, 1914, and died on December 11, 1988. He served as President of the International Court of Justice and was an Indian lawyer and administrator. He was one of four Indian judges who served on the International Court of Justice's (ICJ) in The Hague. He received his education at Ajmer's Mayo College. He is descended from a Rajput royal family. He entered the Indian Civil Service and served as a Regional Commissioner for the Eastern States, a member of India's Constituent Assembly, a joint secretary in the Defense Ministry, Director-General of Transport, and a special secretary in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. He was also awarded the Padma Vibhushan award from the government of India.

Naresh Chandra

He was a 1956 batch IAS of Rajasthan cadre. He served as the Cabinet Secretary of India, the Defence Secretary of India, the Home Secretary of India, the Water Resources Secretary of India, and the Indian Ambassador to the United States. He was born on August 1, 1934, and passed away on July 9, 2017. In 2007, he was awarded the Padma Vibhushan, India's second highest civilian honour, for civil service.

Jagat Singh Mehta

Jagat Singh Mehta (July 17, 1922 – March 6, 2014) was an Indian politician and diplomat who served as the country's Foreign Secretary. He was educated at Leighton Park School in England before attending Allahabad and Cambridge Universities. Laxmi Mall Singhvi

Laxmi Mall Singhvi was an Indian jurist, parliamentarian, academic, journalist, and diplomat who lived from 9 November 1931 to 6 October 2007. Singhvi graduated from Allahabad University with a gold medal in BA and went on to Jaipur University for LLB and MA. He was the first Rotary Scholar from Rajasthan to pursue his LLM at Harvard University. Singhvi was appointed High Commissioner to the Court of St. James by Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao. The fact that he remained in office until 1997, unaffected by the brief terms of the next two Prime Ministers, speaks volumes about his integrity and professionalism. After VK Krishna Menon, he became the United Kingdom's second-longest-serving High Commissioner for India. He also served on The Hague's Permanent Court of Arbitration. Singhvi published a number of works in both English and Hindi. A Tale of Three Cities, Jain Temples, and Bharat aur Hamara Samay are among them. Dr. Singhvi received the Padma Bhushan award from the Indian government.

Mukut Vehari Mathur

Mukut Vehari Mathur was an Indian economist and scholar who lived from 10 October 1915 to 1 January 2004.He was a scholar and economist from India. He served as the vice-chancellor of Rajasthan University and the founding chairman of the Institute of Development Studies, or IDS, in Jaipur. Mathur was Rajasthan University's Vice-Chancellor. He later rose through the ranks of the National Council of Applied Economic Research to become its Director General. Director of the National Institute of Education Planning and Administration in the end. From 1981 to 1987, he served as the first chairman of the IDS and was a member of the Fourth Pay Commission, Third Finance Commission, Education Commission, and Plantation Inquiry Commission of the Central Government. Mathur received the Padma Bhushan award in 1989 for his contribution to economic science. He had previously received the Parikh Memorial Award in 1983 and the Rajasthan Ratna Award from the Rajasthan government in 1984.

Bhogilal Pandya

Bhogilal pandya was born in Simalwara village of Dungarpur district, Rajasthan on 13 november 1904 .He was a social worker and freedom fighter from Dungarpur, Rajasthan, India. For his social works, the Indian government awarded him the Padma Bhushan on April 3, 1976. Pandya was elected President of Seva-sangh, a community service organisation in Rajasthan's Dungarpur, Udaipur, Jaipur, and Jaisalmar regions, in 1938.
