The state of Rajasthan is crossed by more than 20 national highways. The NH-8 highway connects two major cities in the region, passing through Rajasthan's Jaipur, Ajmer, Udaipur, and Chittorgarh over a distance of 635 kilometres. Rajasthan is also linked to other cities through state highways, including Delhi, Ahmedabad, and Indore. The Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation is the state's largest intercity bus service provider.
