Rajasthani language is one of the richest languages in the country. Rajasthani language has different dialects like Marwari ,Mewari, Dundari, Vagadi etc. Rajasthan government is committed to promote the Rajasthani language for protection and preservation of our culture and traditions as well as to connect the younger generation to its roots.
The Rajasthani Bhasha Sahitya & Sanskriti Academy works for the proliferation of Rajasthani literature. This language academy works under the aegis of Department of Art & Culture, Government of Rajasthan.

राजस्थानी भाषा साहित्य और संस्कृति अकादमी द्वारा पांच दशकों से निरंतर प्रकाशित हो रही "जागती जोत" में देश के प्रतिष्ठ विद्वानों के साहित्यिक-सांस्कृतिक शोध लेख व विभिन्न रचनाएं प्रकाशित की जाती हैं। जागती जोत में समय-समय पर महापुरुषों के व्यक्तित्व-कृतित्व पर आधारित विशेषांकों का प्रकाशन भी किया जाता है। अकादमी का एक प्रकाशन विभाग भी है जिसमें राजस्थानी साहित्य के विभिन्न पहलुओं पर 60 से अधिक पुस्तकें हैं।
