The Indus Valley Civilization, which existed from 3300 to 1600 BC and was discovered in 1921, was the oldest civilization in the world. It was situated on the Indus River's banks. Dholavira, Rangpur, Rojdi, Lothal, Sarkotada, Kuntasi, Padri (Gujarat), Kalibangan (Rajasthan), Bhagwanpura, Banwali (Haryana), Diamabad (Maharashtra), Alamgirpur (Uttar Pradesh), and Mauda (Uttar Pradesh) were among the Indus valley sites in India (Jammu).
Kalibangan
Kalibangan is an Indus Valley civilization site located in northern Rajasthan, India. It is currently located in the district of Hanumangarh. The Kalibangan area were established as a planned city around 2900 BC. It was discovered by Italian Indologist Luigi Pio Tessitori, who was the first to identify the ruins as 'Prehistoric' and pre-Mauryan.
